57 A message from rustan.gandvik@telia.com posted at genealogy.com's Sweden General forum in November 2001:
"This is most certainly Sven August Wigar from Horn parish in the south part of Östergötland province, close to the Småland border. According to the passport register on the Emigranten CD, Sven August and his wife (no name) got passports to North America in 1858 (no more precise date mentioned in this source). Also a widow Anna Nilsdotter and a farmhand Victor Nilsson from Horn received passports the same year."
Vigor, Swan August (I152)

58 A researcher reported this marriage year as 1894, as well as the birth of their first daughter as 1895. This seems to be right although it conflicts with what is in the Illinois State Marriage Index. Their other kids were born in the 1890s through the early 1910's. Family F263

59 According to a newspaper clipping. Earl and Shiloh had four
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as of April 1960. They were
members of the reorganized Chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of

60 According to Michael Vigor, Bernard had no children of his own, but he
did adopt. The adopted children never took the Vigor name. Of Arthur's

produced three male Vigors, and, as of 1999, there are NO 5th generation
male children.
