Headstone for Swan A. Vigor and his wife Carolina S. Nelson

Swan and Carolina Vigor's Placemarkers. [MOTHER & FATHER] Because there is only one double-sided stone used for Swan, Carolina, Arthur and Gerda, smaller stones are the true "headstones" for Swan and Carolina. From the age of the Vigor stones in Andover, as apparent in 1999, it would seem that there were all replaced, perhaps in the 1970's. They definitely didn't seem very old. An interesting note - all of the Vigor stones in Andover had purple flowers on them when this picture was taken in late 1999. Also, several of the stones, including John Vigor and Arthur Vigor's had residue from year-old duct tape on them.
