Bryner, 74, of 830 Prairie Ave. died at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 1991, at Kewanee Hospital. Born May 28, 1917, in Kewanee to Ray and Caroline Kempen Bryner, he married Darlene Sexsmith on April 14, 1940, in Burlington, Iowa. She survives, along with one son, Terry H. of Kewanee; five grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and one brother, Hayden of Kewanee. He was a foreman for Kewanee Manufacturing for 40 years, retiring in 1979. He served as a flight engineer in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of First Christian Church in Kewanee, where services will be at 11 a.m. today. The Rev. Max York will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens in Kewanee. Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to his church. | |
