Henry's Tank - now with Sand

9/12/05 8:21:49 PM Henry's tank now has sand instead of gravel. Digging through the rough gravel for food had caused the Corys' barbels (whiskers) to shorten and I'm sure that was bad in several ways. Now that they have had sand instead of rocks for a couple months the barbels have grown completely back. Maintenance is different now because nothing settles into the sand. I have to clean the filter pad a lot more often because almost everything eventually gets sucked in.
